Using NearMe

NearMe is provided free to help people find businesses nearby. Listings come from open data and from business owners, and may be incomplete or out of date. Check important details, such as hours, directly with the business. NearMe is provided "as is," without guarantees of accuracy or availability.

Business accounts

• You may only claim or create a listing for a business you own or are authorized to manage. We may ask for proof, and we may decline or remove a claim at our discretion.
• Information you submit must be accurate and must not be misleading. That includes your business name, contact details, description, and tags.
• Tags must describe products or services you actually offer. Adding unrelated tags to appear in more searches is not allowed.
• Don't submit content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, impersonates another business, or is offensive.
• You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
• By submitting listing information, you allow NearMe to display it publicly and to use it to operate and improve the service.

Our rights

We may edit, hide, or remove any listing or content, and suspend or close any account, if we believe it breaks these terms or harms people using NearMe.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify business account holders by email.
